What do music therapy sessions look like? Each music therapy session at Music Therapy Now is tailored to the unique needs of the individual. Sessions may involve a variety of approaches, including: Analyzing the lyrics of a client’s favorite song to explore personal meaning and apply insights to real-life situations. Writing original songs to process significant life events or emotions. Learning and playing a new instrument to build positive coping skills and emotional resilience. Improvising and playing instruments to explore and understand our emotions. As a humanistic music therapist, Dannielle empowers clients to take an active role in their therapy. She encourages them to decide what they want to explore, discuss, and experience in each session, ensuring a personalized, client-centered approach that fosters growth and self-expression.
